Welcome to Canterbury!
Canterbury
is a ministry for college students and adults of all faith backgrounds sponsored by the Episcopal Church.
We invite you to join us as we worship God together and celebrate our faith in Christ Jesus
expressed in diverse Christian traditions. We are an Anglican/Episcopalian group, but all traditions of Christianity
(Catholicism, Calvinism, etc.) are represented by Canterbury members.

At Saint Bartholomew's
This year we are in a time of transition. We have an Interim Rector, Fr. Scotty Innes
and a full time Canterbury Director, Eric Ryniker. We have our Sunday evening Contemporary Service in the St. Bartholomew's
sanctuary and often meet in the parish hall before going to other events. St. Bartholomew's is also our main financial
supporter which has allowed us to operate without charging dues.

In the Diocese
Canterbury operates freely out of St. Bartholomew's but is also a part of the diocesan community. The Diocese of
West Texas has provided us with grant money which has allowed us to expand our ministry opportunities. With assistance
from the diocese Canterbury is now in a position to help pay for members to attend retreats and conferences held by the diocese.
